Peter and other Braumeister owners
I have been given permission to do the first run on a customers shiny new 50lt Braumeister! yay!
He wont have time to use it until May, so has given me free reign on his unused one!
If you use or own one, do you sparge, or just use full volume for the mash?

Definitely sparge. Not much though comparatively to a normal 3V, I normally do 7L on my 20L BM. Nothing fancy either, I just get a pot of 78C water and use a coffee mug to pour it over.
It usually give me a 80% efficiency when I sparge.
One other thing to be aware of, when you set the boil temp, set it to 102C - much better boil that way.
What are you going to brew first? I find doing a 4-5 step mash is completely necessary. Single infusion is for losers.
